These commands work remotely or locally.
Execute the following:
regdmp -m \\yourserver01 “hkey_local_machine\system\currentcontrolset\control\session manager” | findstr BootExecute
If the BootExecute key contains “autocheck autochk /p \??\C:”, the server is set to do a chkdsk of the C (or whatever drive is listed) on boot.
Remove the flag
Either open regedit/regedt32 manually and remove the key or execute the following:
reg delete “\\yourserver01\HKLM\system\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager” /v BootExecute
