I found these photos on Flickr. She is from, and these photos are of, Iceland.  I think it conveys the general sense of the country quite well.

I saw this post in my RSS feed.   This was an immensely beautiful place - on the top floor in a Museum (?) they had a Cartier-bresson exhibit, which was one of the highlight of my trip.
